Overview

Builder.io, a headless CMS, is a drag and drop visual experience builder that works with any existing site, app, CMS and e-commerce store. Builder.io provides a content platform for businesses to build and optimize their websites, apps, social commerce, and other digital experiences, and seamlessly integrates with any existing site, app, CMS, e-commerce store, custom backend, etc.

Builder.io enables non-developers to drag and drop to create, publish, and optimize custom pages to their existing sites and apps. With the Cloudinary App Extension, you can populate your sites and apps with assets from your Cloudinary DAM utilizing Cloudinary's optimizations and transformations.

With the Builder.io Cloudinary App Extension installed, you can benefit from using:

  • The Cloudinary DAM as your single source of truth for storing and collaborating on all of your rich media files. You can share media with other users, apply structured metadata values tailored for your organization's media workflow, and take advantage of advanced AI capabilities that enable automatic tagging, face detection, advanced search capabilities, background removal, and more.
  • Cloudinary's media optimizations, which enable media handling at scale including automatic image and video optimization and fast delivery to every user device and delivery channel.

Note
The Safari browser may require additional steps when logging in to the Media Library. If you encounter an issue, follow the prompts to log in separately and attempt to open the Media Library again. Alternatively, use one of the other recommended browsers when working with Cloudinary.
